Big Money in the Bank Qualifying Match Announced For This Week’s WWE Smackdown
While reviews of Sunday night’s WWE Backlash pay-per-view have thus far been overwhelmingly negative, the one universally praised aspect of the show was the opening number; an Intercontinental Championship match between Seth Rollins and The Miz.
While he was ultimately unsuccessful in his attempt to win back the belt he helped make relevant again, it seems the must-see superstar will still be rewarded for an outstanding performance. The Miz will officially compete in a qualifying match this Tuesday night on Smackdown Live, with the winner advancing to this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match!
There are still a lot of questions in the air – we still don’t know who The Miz will face this Tuesday night, for instance. We also don’t know how many Money in the Bank ladder matches there will be when WWE rolls into Chicago next month, as there are currently two world championships AND two women’s championships. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available, but for now checking out the A-Lister making noise on the WWE Backlash post-show:
