UFC President Dana White Praises CM Punk’s ‘Balls’ While Mickey Gall Labels Punk a ‘Liar’ (Videos)
Former WWE star and current MMA fighter CM Punk will have his sophomore fight against Mike Jackson at UFC 225 this weekend, and TMZ Sports recently caught up with Punk’s first UFC opponent, Mickey Gall, and you can watch in the video player above.
On Punk vs Jackson:
“CM Punk lasted 2 minutes and 14 seconds with me. That’s pretty good. Mike Jackson lasted 45 seconds with me. So by that, CM Punk does have almost triple the UFC cage time that Mike Jackson has, so that’s a factor going into it.”
On Punk claiming he wants a rematch against Gall:
“He don’t want that. I think he’s a liar. I don’t think he actually wants that. I don’t think [UFC] will let that happen again.”

TMZ Sports also spoke with UFC President ahead of this weekend’s 225 event, and White praised Punk for wanting to get back into The Octagon after his first loss.
On Punk’s UFC return:
“These guys who have been fighting for years, the first time they come into the UFC they get those UFC jitters man, it happens. Imagine never fighting, it’s your first fight, and you’re on the big stage. Even though [Punk has] been in big events before, it’s obviously a lot different. And he has the balls to step in here and put it all on the line, not once, but twice. He’s gonna do it again.”
