WWE Crown Jewel to Feature Saudi Arabia’s First Ever Women’s Match
WWE sent out a press release early this morning officially announcing Natalya vs. Lacey Evans for Thursday’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first time in history that women’s wrestling comes to the nation.
This will be WWE’s fourth major event in Saudi Arabia as part of an incredibly lucrative 10-year contract, and reports indicate that officials have been pushing for a women’s match there since the very first show, the Greatest Royal Rumble, back in April of last year.
