WWE Backlash PPV Back On With New Date & Location, More Changes
It was previously reported that WWE has cancelled The 2019 Backlash PPV Event scheduled for June 16th in San Diego, California. There are now some new updates on this story. According to Dave Meltzer Of F4WOnline.com, The Backlash PPV Event scheduled for June 16th in San Diego, California is now back on, however it is expected to be a non-televised live event.
The WWE PPV Event in Saudi Arabia scheduled for June 7th is currently looked at as a “probable, but not 100 percent right now,” according to Meltzer. With this being the case, a lot of shows and decisions are currently on hold. There is still nothing firm regarding whether or not The NXT TakeOver Special in San Jose, California scheduled for June 8th is still on.
The tentatively scheduled WWE Live Event in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 7th has now been moved to June 16th while The WWE Live Event in Denver, Colorado on June 8th has now been moved to June 15th. The fact that these moves have been made leads one to assume that The Saudi Arabia PPV Event is still on.
As far as The WWE Backlash PPV Event goes, there is talk that the show will go down on June 23rd, which is currently listing shows in Spokane, Washington or Abbotsford, British Columbia. The expectation is that it will be in Washington, but not necessarily Spokane. More information will be provided on this matter once it surfaces.
