Himachal Pradesh’s Bike Ambulance Has Revolutionised Healthcare Service By Reaching More People In Less Time
The bike ambulance service in Shimla usually referred as 108 service has done wonders as the response time in emergency cases up to 33 per cent in the Himachal Pradesh capital. The service was introduced as First Responder Bike (FRB) in Shimla on April 2 to attend to emergency cases.
FRBs in its initial 20 days, up to April 22 served 100 emergency cases in Shimla town, the state government spokesperson said. On an average five cases were attended by these FRBs every day.
