Army dogs are heroes who work relentlessly in foiling impending terror attacks and in yet another heroic act, army’s tracker dog ‘Jaari’ busted a huge cache of arms and explosives in Assam. In an operation, ‘Jaari’ located a huge cache of arms, ammunition, explosives and war like stores, hidden by insurgent organisation NDFB (S) at Panbari Reserve Forest in BTAD (Bodoland Territorial Area Districts) in Assam.

Last week, the Indian Army paid heartfelt tributes to their canine hero named Dutch.

Army Eastern Command condoled the death of ‘Dutch’, a 9-year-old dog in Kolkata and all the officials paid last respects to the dog. The dog died on September 11, by garlanding him. Dutch was instrumental in identifying Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in various operations.
