Karlie Kloss Designs a Tee for a Good Cause as Express’s New Brand Ambassador
If you’re searching for a living, breathing definition of versatility, look no further than 23-year-old model Karlie Kloss. Yes, the model can nail a strut down the high-end runways of designers like Oscar de la Renta, but she can also slip into off-duty separates with ease.
Kloss officially has been tapped as brand ambassador and creative consultant of Express and, as if that weren’t enough, also stars in the new #ExpressLife campaign, which kicks off Aug. 1. Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh, the portfolio of campaign images finds Kloss sporting an assortment of the clothier’s fall denim collection, which naturally includes jeans in practically every shade, classics like a plain white oxford, and sultry off-the-shoulder tops.
“I grew up wearing and shopping at Express in St. Louis, and have always loved the brand for its everyday, versatile looks that work for so many aspects of my life, whether I’m at work, school or out with friends,” Kloss said in a statement. “I cannot think of a better brand to collaborate with and create designs that capture my personal style.”
And while the beauty is set to make her debut as creative collaborator with an exclusive collection next spring, you don’t have to wait ‘til then to get a taste of her style. In fact, she helped design a white tee ($25; express.com) that simply reads “Like a Kloss,” portions of which will go towards her very own Kode with Klossy organization to empower young girls.
