Craghoppers beat credit crunch
For the first quarter of 2009, British travel and outdoor clothing company Craghoppers announced a record. The brand improved their first quarter sales targets by 19% overall and increases have been reported across all divisions.
Sales from the brands’ iconic Kiwi range have been strong and Craghoppers insect repellent range Nosquito has been the brands star performer, quadrupling in turnover sales. Development of high performance yet comfortable clothing continues to be high on the agenda for the brand.
Jim McNamara, Craghoppers MD said: “I delighted with how our business is performing across all areas and with our TV and newspaper ads just hitting, we’re expecting this increase to expand even further.”
