I've been following John since I used to get in trouble
in high school for having his tapes (you know how
those fuckin' Catholics are...), seen him live once a
year since 1986 back in Syracuse at the Lost Horizon
(more affectionately known as the "Lost Whore
Zone"), and made a die hard fan out of every
half-bagged barfly friend I've had since. If ever there
was a need for a more irreverent, less bullshit PC
perspective on shit, it's now. After all... how often can
you go to a public place, get shit-faced drunk, scream
all your favorite obscenities set to the tune of
yesterday and today's most catchy ditties at the top of
your lungs, and not get arrested?
So with that in mind.. I'd like to propose a toast...
"Here's to you, you old fuckin' fart and here's to
makin' 30. Dumbass comics come and go, but there's
only one fuckin'-a Dr. Dirty." God bless you John and
keep on rockin' !
