Hey Guys, how are ya? My younger brother caught a bunch of
John's shows about 10 years ago and damned near broke my arm
to make me promise to see him next time he was in town, but
between just getting married and working too much at that time
never did. Shame on me..... All these years later I had a friend
mention John's name to me and I told him that I had some tracks
burned on my pc and burned a short cd and created a town of
"dirt freaks" here in MA
I scored a few tickets for John's show at the Comedy connection
here in Boston in early March, right in the Front row and ended up
one beer away from dribbling in my pants during the show. Too
fucking funny. My face still fucking hurts...
During his intermission I got up on stage with him and asked him
to sign some t-shirts and cd's that I bought ( and bought double
for my kid Brother who lives in Florida too....Yeah, I finally made it
Scott !!! ) I had a better time than was was even put out there that
I would have.
John was right out there hanging with everyone and was the balls.
As he was signing my cd's and t-shirts I told him that his show
was the funniest thing I had seen since my ex-wife tripped down
the courtroom stairs during my divorce hearings and he laughed
as hard as I did during his show. I'm glad I could give back just
1% of what he gave that night to me and the crowd.
Yeah, my divorce was almost as much fun as his show....
Although, John didn't cost me a house and all my toys....... Just a
wet spot in my underwear....... Ha Ha
John, you're the best Brother. Talented musician, Great story
teller, and can make everyone laugh. You're a fucking Gem.
It was was a pleasure to meet you that night an wish you many
more laughs as you deseserve......... "
