I first saw John back in hmmm....1984 or was
it 1986? (I was probably drunk) Either way it's
been over 20 years that I've been a fan. From
the first show I've been hooked and never
looked back! John's been a part of many
memorable moments for me. The show the
week of September 11th which I wrote about
in the 30 years of dirt section. The night I got
engaged I was at a Valby show as well. I try
NEVER to miss a show and only do under
extreme circumstances. A Valby show isn't
just a show....it's an EVENT! We get excited
when it's announced and try to round up as
many Valby virgins as we can. I enjoy seeing
all the familiar faces in the front row every
time. We're like a twisted family I guess you
could say, but there's just nothing like it! I
love chatting with John and Ron and am
always up for a round of Barnacle Bill! John's
been sweet enough to always take the time to
say "hello". He is a truly wonderful guy, and
there's no way to thank him for all the
laughter and great times he has brought to
me over the years.......For as long as he
plays....I'll be there!
This weekend, in anticipation of the show
next month, I decided to show my devotion
with my new tattoo.....It makes me smile, just
as John always does!
